Baccarat casino game and all its variants are played and loved all over the world today. That is why it is not surprising that this game feels itself straitened in land-based casinos and it starts finding new fields to show itself. Cinematography has become the perfect basement for this goal: many films can be found today where baccarat is noticed being one of the main actors. It is possible to find in about 20 films which introduce baccarat but everybody definitely knows just the most popular of them.
Casino Royale
James Bond was a big fan of baccarat game and played it in almost all films about Agent 007; for example, baccarat can be met in such movies as Dr. No, Golden Eye, For Your Eyes Only. But the main one is still Casino Royale of 1967 where baccarat plays the main role during the whole film. Casino Royale was a parody on the original book of Ian Fleming (Casino Royale of 2006 showed James Bond being the admirer of poker just because this game was very popular then).
A Hard Day’s Night
This is the film of 1964 where the world-famous band The Beatles played main roles. A Hard Day’s Night tells about some days from The Beatles’ life when they came to London from their native Liverpool to take part in the TV show and give a concert there. A lot of funny and curious situations happened to them there and we have an opportunity to observe them. One of the situations was connected with John Lennon’s grandfather: he came to the casino to play baccarat though did not know the rules at all but was able to win a rather big sum of money.
Rush Hour 3
The films of Jackie Chan are always interesting and funny to watch. He is one of baccarat admirers by himself and this fact is easy to see in some of his films where he uses the game for some curious situations. The famous movie Rush Hour 3 is not an exception: one of the scenes shows us Chris Tucker who comes to a casino and joins baccarat table in order to seduce a beautiful lady. But he does not know the rules of baccarat and considers his hand of 3 Kings being a winning one though it means zero and his total loss.
Speaking about all these films, it can be added that baccarat movies are just a part of a big and rich world of baccarat art which includes also baccarat books, linguistics, famous baccarat artists who play a big role in baccarat development, various baccarat games and tips.
